State operators of grain market purchased over 770 thousand tons of grain

State joint-stock company "Khlib Ukrainy", State Reserve Fund and association of consumers' cooperation "Ukoopspilka" purchased over 770 thousand tons of grain to September 17.

Vice Prime Minister Leonid Kozachenko announced this to the media on September 18.

In his words, "Khlib Ukrainy, State Reserve Fund and "Ukoopspilka" fall behind the schedule of grain purchases, according to which these structures should purchase 3 million tons of grain during August-September.

At the same time the Vice Premier was sure that state operators would be able to undertake purchases on time in presupposed amount.

L. Kozachenko pointed out that government's actions at the grain market helped stabilization of price situation. "Price decrease has stopped. In perspective, already in November seasonal price growth will begin", - he said.
