Fruit-Inform invites all participants of the fruit business to the 4th International Conference “Apple Business of Ukraine-2014”.
The event again changes its hosting city and moves to Vinnytsia – the center of apple production in Ukraine. A change of the conference city will ensure both convenient participation conditions and interesting and eventful program of the second conference day: business-tour to one of the leading apple farms in the region - Agro-Etalon.
The conference will cover the following topics:
- global apple production forecast;
- Ukrainian and Russian markets for apples; production and price forecast prepared by Fruit-Inform;
- Ukraine's imports and exports of apples; main requirements of buyers;
- variety structure of apple production; approaches to selection of trees;
- critical moments in apple growing; master-classes from sector experts;
- the market for processed apples;
- new technologies of apple handling, processing and storage;
- apple marketing; most promising sales channels etc.
The business-tour on the second conference day will focus on:
- technologies of growing different apple varieties;
- machinery used during apple orchard activities;
- modern storehouse that enables to successfully sell produce within the whole season;
- up-to-date apple handling and packaging site.
