Ukrainian fruit and vegetable niche market
The 11th International Conference «Fruits & Vegetables of Ukraine-2014» will start its work in less than a month, on December 8, 2014, Rus Hotel, Kiev, Ukraine.
The conference program is being regularly updated with the most relevant fruit and vegetable market subjects, as, for the present, investors are examining different sectors for most reliable capital spending. More often, they pay their attention to niche crops and categories with previously uncommercial production volumes.
More detailed information about several niche fruit and vegetable business sectors will be presented by the speakers of the 11th International Conference «Fruits & Vegetables of Ukraine-2014».
«Industrial nut orchards» - this was a subject of no serious attention showed in Ukraine about 5-7 years ago. However, the sector has been characterized by solid breeding work, and the foundation for first large-scale plantations has been laid. As a result, Ukraine has several farms with available hundreds of hectares under nut crops. Furthermore, Ukrainian supermarkets more often offer branded nuts of Ukrainian origin. The nut business's attractiveness will be covered by the presentation of Mr. Maksim Kalayda, the Ukrainian Nut Market Expert.
The conference program will also focus on the mushroom market and field-grown production of lettuces in Ukraine.
