Fruit & Vegetable Business of Russia – 2013 to begin in 5 days

The 6th International Conference “Fruit & Vegetable Business of Russia – 2013” is to start its work in 5 days, September 17, 2013, in conjunction with World Food Moscow 2013 Exhibition, Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow, Russia.

For the present, there are about 100 delegates from Russia, Ukraine, Austria, Germany, Morocco, the Netherlands, Poland, the USA and Ecuador to have confirmed their participation. Altogether, the conference will be attended by more than 150 delegates with the share of Russian importers, retailers and wholesalers amounting to 30%, and the share of Russian growers – to another 30%.

The conference program includes only relevant subjects of the global and Russian fruit and vegetable markets, such as Russia's import requirements, fruit and vegetable production, pricing, trade, developments in the Russian markets for apples, potatoes, greenhouse vegetables, fresh and frozen berries, niche crops, handling, storage and processing technologies as well as principal aspects in produce marketing and logistics in the light of current Russian realities.
