Apple production in Ukraine and Russia. Technologies, approaches, key moments. Master classes from sector leaders
Fruit-Inform and Artemivsk Nursery Experimental Station, the co-organizers of the 3rd International Conference “Apple Business of Ukraine & Russia – 2013”, announce the sector leaders' exclusive technological master-classes to be included into the program of the event.
Critical moments and modern approaches to high-yielding apple growing will be examined in details during the master-class of Mr Vladimir Osadchiy, M Agr, Advisory Agriculturalist at Sedna-Agro, Ukraine.
Mr Yevgeniy Rassokha, Director at Artemivsk Nursery Experimental Station, will present his view of selection of trees during setting out an apple orchard.
Choice of apple varieties will also be covered by the presentation of Mr Laszlo Lesko, Sales Manager at Holland Plant, Ukraine.
Mrs Nina Dmitrash, Head of Fruit Project, Ukraine, will pay special attention to measuring of optimal ripeness of fruits for harvesting in her master class.
The technological session will end by the presentation of Mr Sergey Gavrishev, Adviser to Chairman of Board of Svarog West Group Corporation, Ukraine, who will speak on crop treating in apple orchard, protection against frosts and hail as well as present the overview of most important tools at hand of agronomist.
The technological session will also cover the subjects of selection of agrichemistry products for apple growing, machinery and equipment for crop harvesting and protection etc.

We would remind you that the conference will start its work on August 15, 2013, Shakhtar Plaza Hotel, Donetsk, Ukraine. On the second conference day, the delegates will be able to visit Artemivsk Nursery Experimental Station.
For the present, there are about 50 delegates from 5 countries of the world, who have confirmed their participation, and their number will exceed 150 people by the start of the event.
