Ukrainian berry market: present situation and outlook
Fruit-Inform, specially for the participants of the 6th International Conference «Berries of Ukraine-2015: Frozen Produce & Fresh Market», has started preparing the production and price forecast for key berry crops in Ukraine. The forecast for the upcoming season will be presented by Ms. Tetiana Getman and includes the outlook for the following products: strawberries, raspberries, currants, blueberries, sour and sweet cherries.
The Ukrainian fresh berry sector, despite instable economics and difficult geopolitical situation in the country, remains attractive for the investors and keeps on developing. Furthermore, the conference annually involves more than 150 delegates from 8-10 countries of the world with berry growers, ready to adopt modern production, handling and storage technologies, accounting for above 50% of them.

The event will be held on May 21-22, 2015, Rus Hotel, Kiev, Ukraine. A two-day program traditionally includes conference sessions on the 1st day and a business-tour on May 22 to Agrofirma Vesna-2011 – a large grower of strawberries, raspberries, currants and blueberries in Kiev Region.
