New season apple production and exports outlook for Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine on 28 July
On July 28 at 10:00 Central European Summer Time (GMT+2) EastFruit will share the first outlook for apple production and exports for Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine in 2020/21 season at the “EastFruit Apple Outlook 2020/21” online conference.
We will also provide an estimate for the Russia’s apple imports in the new season and report about apple market developments in Uzbekistan, Georgia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and other countries in the region in the global context. Preliminary forecast of apple exports from Poland will also be shared.
Apple importers, who will take part in the event, will also receive direct contracts of key apple exports from Moldova and Ukraine and could widen their sourcing network. Additional market linkages are going to be especially valuable considering lack of trade shows, conferences, trade missions and other networking opportunities.
One of the main focuses of the event would be to explain potential new destinations for apples exported from these target countries as they are gradually boosting their production and export volumes while their target market in Russia is shrinking. We will also do our best to explain the developments in quality of fruits in these countries as farmers are investing heavily in new varieties, better storage, sorting and grading equipment.
Online event is supported by FAO, EBRD, Fruit-Inform, Sapienza.media, as well as industry associations Serbia Does Apples, Ukrainian Horticultural Association, and Federation FARM from Moldova.
The information provided at the event will allow market participants to assess the prospects for apple pricing in the new season and understand possible changes in volumes of apple supply and quality.
Participation in the conference is free of charge but preliminary registration is required through this form.
Number of participants is limited and priority will be given to these who registered first. However, we will share recording of the event later at EastFruit YouTube Channel.
“EastFruit Apple Outlook 2020/21” will be organized on Zoom platform.
