Russia: Fruit & Vegetable Market Report, the 45th week of 2016

• Prices of greenhouse vegetables kept on going down
• White cabbages were sold mainly in contracted volumes
• No cardinal changes were registered in the red beet and carrot market
• Farmers’ attempts to raise onion prices negatively affected demand
• The demand for potatoes slightly grew in some regions
• Prices of apples and bananas were stable
• Citrus fruits became less expensive
