One of the largest in Europe projects on vegetable storage will be presented during the conference «Vegetables and Fruit of Ukraine-2010»
The first decade of the new century ends with construction of one of the largest in Europe fresh vegetable storage warehouses.
The first construction stage for more than 100,000 tonnes of produce is to be put into operation in Kakhovka (Kherson region of Ukraine).
The company “Green Team” plans to grow by its own, store and implement all cycle of pre-sale preparation of the following crops: potatoes, onions (including salad leeks), white cabbage, carrots, and beets.
In its work, the enterprise uses the most up-to-date technologies. The company is headed by Carl Sturen, Swedish entrepreneur, famous in Ukrainian business circles as a founder and co-owner of one of the largest food producers in Ukraine under TM “Chumak”.
According to Andriy Yarmak, Head of the project Fruit-Inform, this will be the largest complex for fresh vegetable storage in Ukraine to be able to satisfy needs of major purchasers during the whole year.
The enterprise “Green Team” currently conducts negotiations with potential storage and pre-sale preparation equipment suppliers, and with purchasers from Ukraine, as well as foreign ones, on joint collaboration.
