Flour millers afraid of new crisis

Ukrainian producers of flour are concerned about possible crisis which can burst out in the market of wheat flour because of fixed prices.

Thus, according to market operators, a part of flour millers in Central Ukraine are either switching onto production of rye flour or accumulating the stocks of wheat flour with the aim of selling it later, when fixed prices are lifted.

In southern regions producers of flour, which have to provide sales at the established prices, are operating with minimal profitability. In this, shortage of sales offers is being noted.

Market operators in the Crimea have told about appearance in the market of Russian flour at low prices, in which connection its smuggles are not excluded.
