Ukraine's food industry increased output 21.3 pc in Jan-Aug

Web-site of Ukraine's State Food Department has informed that over the eight months of 2003 the country's food industry produced by 21.2 percent larger worth of products than over the corresponding period last year.

The industry increased output of granulated sugar, sunflower oil, bread and bakery products, margarine, pasta, etc. At the same time, production of such items as ethyl spirit, champagne wines, food concentrates, light beverages and some others, decreased.
