Table grape prices begin to decrease
According to Fruit-Inform Project, table grape prices in Europe began to decrease. Notwithstanding the end of the table grape season forthcoming in South Africa, table grape supply from other Southern Hemisphere countries continues to grow. This exerts pressure on prices in expectation of first table grape shipments from India to enter the market.
Currently Chilean and Argentinean table grapes can be bought at 1.65-1.90 euro/kg in Rotterdam. The following varieties are predominantly offered: Superior Seedless, Regal, and Red Globe. First offers are coming also from India.
