CM will continue state regulation of food markets

Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and regional state administrations consider the crisis on the food market, the peak of which fell on the last ten days of June, to have been exhausted and the situation in agrarian market to be stable and regulated, web-site of Ukraine's Agrarian Policy Ministry informed.

According to Prime Minister Victor Yanukovych, the administrative regulation of markets in current period is a forced measure. As of the end of August the prices for socially important foodstuff items - bread, flour, sugar - corresponded to the prices of late May. The prices for some products, e.g. sugar, have continued to quickly drop.

The Cabinet of Ministers will further proceed with state regulation of food markets. First of all, this concerns the market of bread.
