Information for fruit and vegetables business in CIS
State operators purchased 1 million tons of grain
State joint-stock company "Khlib Ukrainy", State Reserve Fund and association of customers' cooperation "Ukoopsilka" purchased 1 million tons of this year's crop grain, Vice Premier Leonid Kozachenko announced on September 28.
As it was reported earlier, according to the President's and the Prime Minister's commission, these state structures should have purchased 3 million tons of grain during August-September to stabilize price situation at the domestic market and also to avoid sharp price decrease on grain due to increase of grain crop this year.
The Vice Premier was sure that state operators would be able to purchase 3 million tons of grain during October.
