L. Kozachenko: Export of AIC products increased during eight months of 2001 for 22 percent
Export of agro-industrial complex products increased during eight months of 2001 for 22 percent, Vice Premier Leonid Kozachenko announced during a press conference on October 4.
In his words, as for today Ukraine has exported AIC products for the total sum of 1.470 billion hryvnyas. Positive tendencies in export growth are monitored in all branches of the industry. The most increase is seen in grain, meat, milk, vine and juice export. According to L. Kozachenko, the tendency of export growth is remaining.
In words of the Premier, share of agricultural products in total export also increased. So, during eight months of the current year it totaled 9.4 percent vs. 9 percent during the whole 2000.
