Kazakhstan exported 2.1 mln t grain Dec. 1
Kazakhstan shipped for export 2.1 million tonnes of grain as of December 1 this year, the country's Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Agriculture Akhmejan Yesimov has told today to the plenary sitting of parliament (the Majilis), web-resource Gazeta.kz has informed.
"This is much more than it was last year", the minister said.
On the whole, he assessed the country's grain export potential in 5 million tonnes. He said that, according to preliminary estimate, production of grain had brought this year $1.5 billion of income, which was 2.5 times more than in 2002.
