Ukraine produced 3.4 pc less milk in Jan.-Nov. 2003 than year ago

In January-November 2003 Ukrainian farmers produced 12.904 million tonnes of milk, which is 3.4 percent less than in the eleven months of 2002. Organised agricultural businesses produced 2.538 million tonnes of milk, whereas private peasant households - 10.365 million tonnes.

The farmers produced 10.762 million eggs over the 11 months, which is 1.6 percent more than in January-November 2002.
