Bread prices in Ukraine increased 18 to 27 pc since late September
The prices for bread and flour in all regions of Ukraine since September 30, 2003 till January 10, 2004 increased 18.2 to 27.3 percent.
According to web-server Mignews.com.ua, the Ministry of Economy and for European Integration has informed that the largest rate of price growth was registered for bakery products, produced from top grade flour - 27.3 percent.
The regions with the highest bread prices are the city of Sevastopol, Kharkov Oblast and the city of Kiev. The lowest prices are in Cherkassy, Zakarpatye and Rovno Oblasts.
The prices for bread, produced of 1st grade flour, throughout the country increased 19 percent on average.
