Ukraine banned import of poultry from Delaware State
Ukraine has set up a ban for imports of poultry, poultry-origin products and raw materials from the American state of Delaware, because of registration of "bird flu" disease in this state, a spokesman for the State Department of Veterinary Medicine informed on February 11. The import limitation applies to live poultry, incubation eggs, poultry meat and all kinds of poultry-breeding products.
Earlier Ukraine already prohibited imports of poultry meat from Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, China, Pakistan and South Korea, because of the "bird flu" danger that might originate from these countries.
