Kazakhstan: lower pear imports in September
Kazakhstan imported only 2,500 tonnes of pears in September this year that was 35% lower year-on-year.
A decrease in imports is connected with lower shipments from Kyrgyzstan, the main pear trade partner of Kazakhstan. According to the official statistics, Kyrgyzstan's pear exports to Kazakhstan fell by 43% year-on-year in September 2012 and amounted to 2,100 tonnes.
