Russia reduces imports of Serbian apples
Russia's imports of Serbian apples in July-September 2012 were lower year-on-year. According to Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation, Serbia exported only 5,300 tonnes of apples in the mentioned period that was 26% lower year-on-year. In such a way, Serbia's share in Russia's total apple imports amounted only to 3%.
We would remind you that in the previous season Serbian exporters sold 88,000 tonnes of apples to Russian importers that nevertheless was 10% lower compared with a year earlier.
