Sales of fresh apples grow in Ukraine
The demand for fresh apples has slightly grown in Ukraine. The highest sales are registered for Golden, Renete Simirenko and Jonagold varieties. At the same time, red apples are in lower demand.
According to Fruit-Inform, thanks to higher trading and purchasing activity in the market, prices of apples also went up. However, they are still fluctuating within the previous range of UAH 3-6/kg (EUR 0.29-0.57/kg), depending on variety and quality. We would remind you that last year ex-farm prices of apples varied between UAH 3.50-8.00/kg (EUR 0.34-0.77/kg).
