Polish exporters prefer Idared and Champion apples

The demand for apples is currently rather high in Poland with exporters showing the highest interest in these fruits. Polish growers say that traders prefer to purchase Idared and Champion varieties now. This enabled to slightly raise selling prices of those apples last week.

At the same time, due to low demand, prices of Gala apples somewhat decreased in the country. Current apple prices vary between 0.19-0.47 euro/kg in Poland, depending on variety and quality.
