Further increase in apple prices in Poland
Despite Polish exporters' reduction of apple purchase volumes due to May holidays and Orthodox Easter in Central and Eastern Europe, apple prices slightly grew in Poland.
For the present, red apples (70+ size) are purchased from CA-storage facilities at 0.33-0.38 euro/kg. Their maximum prices reach 0.40-0.43 euro/kg.
Apples of larger size (80+) are shipped from CA-storage facilities at 0.38-0.43 euro/kg. However, these fruits are in moderate demand, and exporters are interested in certain varieties: Gloster, Jonagored or Ligol.
