Limited supply of apples in Ukrainian market
According to Fruit-Inform, apple supply is currently limited in Ukraine. Apples are purchased mainly by retail chains. The majority of wholesale companies have already sold available volumes and plan to recommence purchasing after arrival of new crop.
Apple prices currently vary between UAH 11-13/kg (EUR 1.07-1.26/kg). Polish produce accounts for the largest share in apples sales in Ukraine now.
