L. Kuchma signed Land code of Ukraine
On November 13 President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma signed Land code, which implements private property in land. Press secretary of President of Ukraine Igor Storozguk reported about this.
In his words the law will enter into force from the 1st January 2002.
Leonid Kuchma declared that during 3 years of moratorium on purchase and sale of land "it's necessary to provide the mechanism of clear land sale and to create land market".
