In April Ukraine produced 11 pc less flour than month before
Accumulation on Ukrainian market of the substantial stocks of flour reflected itself in a drop of production in April. Thus, according to operative data of State Statistics Committee, last month Ukrainian mills produced 185,600 tonnes of flour, which is 11 percent less than the month before. The flour stocks in the mills at the end of April dropped 9 percent compared with the previous month - to 52,000 tonnes. In April 2003 the statistics was showing the stocks of flour at the mills at 44,300 tonnes.
Totally over the ten months of the 2003/04 MY Ukrainian mills, according to operative information, produced 2.015 million tonnes of flour - 4 percent up from the same months of last season.
