Kazakhstan reduces juice imports
According to the official statistics, Kazakhstan imported 1,600 tons of fruit and vegetable juices in September 2013, a decrease of 36% year-on-year.
Kazakhstan's cumulative juice imports in the first three months of the season 2013/14 reached just 6,000 tons, a decrease of 14% from the period of July-September 2012, when imports had amounted to 7,000 tons.
We would remind you that Kazakhstan imported 31,000 tons of fruit and vegetable juices in the season 2012/13 with Uzbekistan, Israel and Ukraine being the largest exporters.
