Table grape prices down at Ukrainian wholesale markets
Table grape prices have gone down averagely by 20% at Ukrainian wholesale markets compared with early December 2012.
In particular, table grapes are offered at Ozerka Wholesale Market, Dnepropetrovsk (center of Ukraine), at 1.68 euro/kg, a decrease of 17% year-on-year. At Stolychnyi Wholesale Market, Kiev, prices decreased by 22% to 1.59 euro/kg. A year-on-year fall in table grape prices at Shuvar Wholesale Market, Lviv (West of Ukraine), amounted to 30%, and now they average 1.06 euro/kg.
At the same time, prices did not change at Krymskiy Privoz Wholesale Market, Simferopol (South of Ukraine): 2.04 euro/kg.
The situation at Kopani Wholesale Market, Kherson region (South of Ukraine), is an exception, as table grape prices doubled there year-on-year to 1.77 euro/kg.
