Moderate demand for carrots in Poland
The Polish carrot market participants say of currently abundant supply and insufficient demand for their produce.
The supply of low-quality carrots is rather large now, and their minimum prices stand at 0.08 euro/kg. However, the demand for those carrots is not high.
High-quality brushed carrots are offered at 0.11-0.14 euro/kg at Bronisze Wholesale Market, Warsaw. At the same time, due to low demand, sellers are forced to reduce their prices.
The market experts expect abundant supply and lack of demand to keep on negatively affecting the Polish carrot market with no price changes expected until frosts.
