Domestic apples oust imported produce from Ukrainian market

Domestic apples keep on ousting imported produce from the Ukrainian market. According to the official statistics, Ukraine has imported just 2,000 tons of apples in the first 5 months of the current season, a decrease of 33% year-on-year and the lowest result over the past 5 years.

We would remind you that Ukraine lowered apple imports by 30% in the previous season. Despite that, the country still is the net importer of apples, as its apple exports have been going down too.
