Poland: pear prices still higher year-on-year
Pear prices at Bronisze Wholesale Market, Poland, are still higher compared with the previous year, according to Fruit-Inform price monitoring.
Current price levels average 1.06 euro/kg, an increase of 34% compared with the last week of December 2012, when pears had been shipped at 0.79 euro/kg.
At the same time, prices slightly decreased on a week-on-week basis.
