Ukraine's juice exports to Russia up in November
Ukraine has shipped 5,500 tons of fruit and vegetable juices to the Russian Federation in November 2013, an increase of 60% compared with the exports in the same month of the previous year.
However, Ukraine's cumulative exports to Russia over the first 5 months of the current season decreased by 5% year-on-year and stood at 18,000 tons. For comparison, in July-November 2012, the export volumes amounted to record high 19,000 tons.
We would remind you that Russia was the second largest importer of Ukrainian juices in the previous season with the share of 38% in Ukraine's total exports. Only Poland imported more than the Russian Federation.
