Poland's exports of French fries up

Poland keeps on increasing its exports of French fries in the current season.

The market analysts expect the export volumes to reach 165,000 tons in the season 2013/14 against 163,500 tons a year before.

We would remind you that the Russian Federation was the largest importer of French fries from Poland in the previous season. Czech Republic, Ukraine and Hungary also imported significant volumes.

Polish importers also plan to purchase 38,000 tons of French fries in the season 2013/14 with the Netherlands and Belgium to be the largest exporters.

As regards the Ukrainian market for potatoes and vegetables, more detailed information about its developments and outlook will be presented at the 6th International Conference “Potatoes & Vegetables of Ukraine-2014”, which will be held on February 20, 2014, President Hotel, Kiev, Ukraine.
