Moldova's apple production down
According to WAPA data, apple production in Moldova is forecast to stand at 300,000 tons in the season 2013/14, a decrease of 10% compared with the previous season and 11% lower than average in the past 5 years.
We would remind you that the lowest apple production was registered in the Republic of Moldova in the season 2006/07 and amounted to 203,000 tons. Record high production was observed in the season 2011/12: 350,000 tons.
