Kiev, Ukraine: prices of Golden Delicious apples up during weekend

Prices of Golden Delicious apples have jumped by a quarter during the last weekend at Stolychnyi Wholesale Market (Kiev, Ukraine).

For the present, traders offer Golden Delicious apples at 0.66-0.68 euro/kg, an increase of 23% compared with last Friday, when prices averaged 0.55 euro/kg.

At the same time, prices are still 10-11% lower compared with the same period of the previous year. We would remind you that Golden Delicious apples were shipped at 0.75-0.77 euro/kg in the end of January 2013.
