Poland: prices of imported berries down

The Polish market participants say of a decrease in prices of imported berries in the country due to stabilization of berry shipments.

Chilean blueberries have become averagely 11% less expensive over a month and now are offered at 1.67-2.15 euro per 125 grams (13.43-17.27 euro per kg gross).

Prices of raspberries, currants and blackberries, supplied from the Netherlands, have gone down by 9% to 3.00-3.35 euro per 250 grams (23.99-26.88 euro per kg gross).

More significant decrease in prices is expected after arrival of less expensive produce from Spain.
