Poland: unstable prices for grapes

The Polish market participants say of unstable demand and prices for grapes in the current season.

In late March, after a short break, Polish importers again offered Red Globe grapes. However, their origin has changed from Peruvian to Chilean now. Last week, prices of those grapes reached 2.13-2.35 euro/kg. As regards Thompson grapes of South African origin, their prices have grown by 7% to 2.88-3.09 euro/kg over a week. At the same time, prices of Sudance grapes remain stably low and average 1.87 euro/kg.

Sellers also offer Victoria grapes at 2.40-2.66 euro/kg. La Rochelle grapes are shipped at 2.66-2.88 euro/kg, and prices of Crimson Seedless variety vary between 3.46-3.73 euro/kg.
