Poland's mandarin imports down in 2013
According to Central Statistical Office of Poland, the country reduced imports of mandarins in 2013.
The import volumes totaled 140,600 tons, a decrease of 11% year-on-year. The import value stood at 97.6 mln euro.
Spain traditionally was the leading exporter of mandarins to Poland in 2013 (with the share of 78% in Poland's total imports) despite a decrease in shipments. In 2013, Poland imported 109,000 tons of mandarins from Spain, a decrease of 9% year-on-year.
Poland also imported large volumes of mandarins from Italy (8% of Poland's total imports) and Greece (3%).
