Polish farmers start the season of early potatoes
The Polish market participants say of arrival of first volumes of domestic early potatoes in the country.
For the present, the supply of early produce is limited with only some farms from Mazovia and Lodz Provinces having started the season. Thus prices of early potatoes are rather high now: 3.11-3.59 euro/kg.
Polish growers expect a significant increase in the supply after May 20th given that weather conditions are favorable.
