Poland: prices of raspberries for processing double year-on-year
Polish processors have recently started the raspberry procurement campaign.
For the present, the supply of raspberries for processing is rather limited in Poland. Many processing factories say of small last year's stocks and are forced to purchase raw raspberries at relatively high prices.
Current prices vary between 1.21-1.45 euro/kg, depending on quality, twice as high as in the same period of the previous season.
The market participants also expect prices of raspberries for processing to remain higher year-on-year due to a decrease in raspberry yields connected with unfavorable weather conditions.
