Moldova: prices of Golden Delicious apples down year-on-year
Current prices of Golden Delicious apples at Moldovan wholesale markets are at least half as high as registered a year before.
For the present, those apples are offered at 0.22-0.43 euro/kg, while in the same period of the previous season prices were not lower than 0.51 euro/kg.
The situation is connected with higher apple production in the season 2013/14 that has resulted in rather large transit stocks of apples in Republic of Moldova now.
