Belarus lifts ban on imports of Ukrainian potatoes
According to the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine, Belarus has lifted a ban on imports of ware potatoes from Ukraine on July 31.
«A temporary ban on imports of ware potatoes of Ukrainian origin were lifted in Belarus on July 31», the Service said.
As it was earlier informed, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus introduced the ban on imports of Ukrainian potatoes on July 10, after the same ban by Rosselkhoznadzor (Russian veterinary and phytosanitary watchdog).
In 2013, Ukraine's potato exports to Belarus valued at $531,000 that accounted for the share of 17.3% in Ukraine's total potato exports.
