Russia: 1.52 mln t of grain sold in 35 days of grain interventions
Exchange tenders within the state commodity interventions are continued on Russian grain market. According to the press-centre of Moscow Inter-Bank Currency Exchange, on June 2 the participants of exchange tenders bought 8,100 tonnes of grain, including 5,000 tonnes of 3rd class wheat at the average price of 4,432 roubles per tonne, 1,000 tonnes of 4th class wheat at 3,400 roubles per tonne, and 2,100 tonnes of milling rye (Group A) at 2,514 roubles per tonne (29 roubles = $1).
During the 35 days of the exchange tenders the amount of grains, sold from the intervention fund, totalled 1.52 million tonnes, including 476,200 tonnes of 3rd class wheat, 779,300 tonnes of 4th class wheat and 260,200 tonnes of milling rye.
