Poland: ongoing decrease in onion prices
According to Fruit-Inform, the Polish market participants still say of negative price performance in the onion segment.
For the present, onions are offered at 0.08-0.13 euro/kg at Bronisze Wholesale Market, a decrease of a third week-on-week.
It should be noted that current prices are 30-35% higher year-on-year due to an increase in onion production in Poland this year: up by 4% to 575,000 tons.
