Ukrainian pear production to reach record high in 2015
The Ukrainian pear production is expected to reach record high in 2015. Pear orchards have rather successfully made it through winter and spring; therefore yields will be 5-20% higher in Ukraine year-on-year.
If farmers' expectations come true, the Ukrainian pear production will total 165,000-170,000 tons in 2015. We would remind you that the previous record high level was registered in 2013: 150,000 tons.
