Poland: prices of Chinese cabbage double year-on-year
Prices of Chinese cabbage have doubled year-on-year in Poland, according to Fruit-Inform. Moreover, prices have grown by 18% week-on-week and reached 0.61-0.79 euro/kg against no higher than 0.64 euro/kg a week before.
The market participants connect positive price trend with rather limited supply of produce under conditions of high demand: only some farms are able to ship Chinese cabbage now, while more active harvesting is planned at least next week.
