EBRD might provide a credit of up to $20 mln to Iliyichevsk Oil Extraction Plant to load on the newly built capacities
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development may allocate the joint venture "Ilyichevsk Oil Extraction Plant", established by the companies ADM Nederland B.V and Risoil S.A, a revolving credit worth up to $20 million to load on the newly built production capacities of the plant.
According to EBRD, the Bank's Board is to consider the issue on September 7 this year.
A spokesman for the Ukrainian office of Risoil S.A. has told the media that this company together with ADM Nederland B.V is constructing an oil extraction plant with rated annual crushing capacity no less than 200,000 tonnes of sunflower seeds in the port of Ilyichevsk. The plant is to be put in operation in November this year.
The plant will be controlled in equal shares by Risoil S.A. and ADM Nederland B.V (a branch of the American Archer Daniels Midland Co.) through the joint venture "Ilyichevsk Oil Extraction Plant".
Risoil owns a large Ukrainian facility for shipment of vegetable oils.
It has been also reported that the major international agricultural and food company Bunge Limited also intends to buy an oil crushing plant in Ilyichevsk port, with annual crushing capacity of 600,000 tonnes of seeds, Interfax-Ukraine news agency informs.
