State tax administration and customs service will be jointly combating illegal exports and illegal VAT refunds
The Head of the State Tax Administration of Ukraine (GNAU) Fedir Yaroshenko and the Head of State Customs Service Mykola Kalensky have signed a joint order, approving the procedure of interaction of Ukrainian customs and tax authorities in providing control over the exports of some goods by the subjects of foreign trade activity, Interfax-Ukraine news agency informed.
According to a new release, issued by GNAU, "the joint activities of GNAU and the State Customs Service will be directed, in particular, to prevention of illegal exports and [illegal] reimbursements of value added tax".
The GNAU spokesman has noted that the joint order has been issued in execution of the presidential order about urgent measures on increasing efficiency of charging value added tax of June 23 this years and the Cabinet of Ministers' instructions on organisation of joint work of state bodies, aimed at prevention of illegal exports and illegal VAT refunds.
