Russian growers start their raspberry season
Growers from Krasnodar Krai of Russia have started their raspberry season this week.
The raspberry campaign started with no delay compared with a year before; however, starting prices of berries are averagely 17% lower year-on-year and now vary between RUB 180-250/kg (USD 2.81-3.90/kg).
It should be noted that the majority of farmers plan their harvesting campaign to be in full swing by the end of June and expect yields to be no lower than a year before.
